Johnson was startled. "Bernard, when did you have a child?"

Did Hera know about this?

"It's not just one. I have a boy and a girl." Bernard walked toward the office desk and looked down at Johnson, who was seated in a chair.

"I also want to know when I had these children."

Bernard seemed to be scrutinizing Johnson with a sense of superiority. The intensity in his gaze made Johnson gulp.

When Theo learned that Bernard had fraternal twins, he immediately recalled Douglas mentioning that Hera was raising Dylan and Dora.

What made Bernard do a paternity test with the children out of nowhere?

"Could the mother have secretly given birth to the children? Wasn't there that news not too long ago? One of the hotel cleaners took one of the guest's used condoms to get herself pregnant. Then, she gave birth to the child before blackmailing that guest." Johnson made a bold guess.

Theo couldn't help but shoot Johnson a thumbs-up. "You have quite the imagination. But Bernard has been more abstinent than a priest in the past few years. There's no way he would've had a one-night stand with a woman."

Johnson remarked, "He doesn't have to have sex with a woman. You're a man, so you probably get it. Sometimes, you need to rely on your right hand to get that release."

Theo couldn't help but smirk. "Look at Bernard. Would he do something like that?"

"It's unlikely!" Johnson shook his head. "But you should never judge a book by its cover."

Bernard's expression darkened as he watched them converse in front of him in hushed whispers. Did they think he had gone deaf?

"Are you guys done discussing? Do you have the answer?" he asked icily.

Johnson felt a chill run down his spine. He shot Theo a meaningful glance as if asking what they should say.

Theo was unable to come up with an idea immediately. Felix once said that they couldn't tell Bernard outright about them tampering with his memories. In that case…

"Show him in." Geoffrey found it strange but still gave permission for Norman Ferguson to enter.

"Congratulations, Mr. Sanderson," Norman said as soon as he walked in.

Geoffrey was confused. "What for?"

"Mr. Sanderson, you're a grandfather," Norman said while handing a paternity test report to Geoffrey. "Your grandson and granddaughter asked us to prepare this report."

Geoffrey wondered what grandson and granddaughter he had. Nicholas was still single and even once told him that he would only marry Hera in this lifetime.

Nicholas would only be able to marry Hera in his dreams, and Geoffrey knew very well that Nicholas was no match for Bernard. Besides, Hera had been missing for the past five years.

Geoffrey's gaze fell on the two names and results. Shocked, he immediately reached for the office phone on the desk and dialed Nicholas' extension.
