Bernard frowned at Dora's words. How could his children even consider having someone else as their father?

"If there's something you don't like about me, just say it. I can change!" he offered.

"Look, Daddy's willing to compromise for you!" Dora coaxed. "I want to go see Mommy as soon as possible."

Although Dylan was reluctant, his desire to see his mother was stronger. He muttered unwillingly, "Dad."

Bernard grinned. "Good boy. Change your clothes, and we'll head to the hospital."

Adeline, seeing the two children finally willing to come out, hurriedly brought out the food she had prepared earlier. "Mr. Killian, should the children eat something before heading out?"

"Mommy, Daddy sees us as his children now. You can wake up now. Daddy also promised to give us all his money, so we can buy lots of food and live in a big house. Mommy, if you don't wake up, some other woman might steal Daddy, and the money won't be ours anymore." Dora pouted.
