Amara instantly felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. Elysia's words were rude, considering the fact that Finnian had just saved both of them.

"Elysia's had too much to drink. She probably won't even remember what she said. Please, don't take it to heart. Thank you so much for earlier. I'll make sure to properly thank you another day. I should get going now."

Not wanting to risk Elysia saying anything else that might anger Finnian, Amara quickly helped her friend out of the bar.

The small group of punks watched her leave with venom, too cowardly to say anything more.

Meanwhile, Liliana, who had been watching from the sidelines, walked up to Finnian and tugged at the edge of his coat. "Finn, what are you thinking about?"

"Nothing," Finnian turned and replied, his expression indifferent. "Let's go."

As they walked out together, Liliana couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance as she recalled Finnian stepping in to help Amara.

Ever since that incident at the club, Finnian had been keeping his distance from Amara, but he still felt the need to involve himself in her matters. Just now, he'd even gotten into a fight for her. That infuriating sense of responsibility of his was driving her crazy.

As Finnian left the bar with a cool expression, he overheard a conversation. "Did you see the fight just now? Who was that girl? Even with the mask, her eyes were stunning."

"No idea. But she sure is heartless. That incredibly handsome guy fought for her, and she just walked away with her friend. Cold-blooded, if you ask me."

"Come on, what cold blood? She did thank him."

She checked her phone and did a quick calculation. Only seven days remained until Finnian and Amara's divorce was finalized.

Seven days wasn't long, but to Liliana, it felt like a testament to her insufficient tolerance. Eyes flickering, a decision formed in her mind at the moment.

The next morning, Amara headed to the set bright and early. She had two scenes to oversee that morning, neither particularly critical, so she planned to retreat to her break room and catch up on some reading.

As she passed by a pond, Liliana intercepted her with a smile. "Ms. Sullivan, I wanted to discuss something with you. Could we tweak the next scene a bit? I was thinking..."

Liliana shared her idea, and Amara listened intently. When Liliana finished, Amara shook her head as she replied, "No, if we change it like you said, it would weaken the emotional impact. We have to keep it as is."
