The moment the photos leaked, Amara knew it was only a matter of time before a swarm of reporters descended upon her, eager to snag the first scoop.

She realized she needed to find a safe haven, somewhere she wouldn't be found. If she delayed even a few hours, she risked being surrounded by the press.

With this in mind, Amara quickly packed her things, whispering to herself, "You're smart, Amara. You've seen through this mess. Now, stay calm and get out of here."

She forced herself to suppress the storm of anger, panic, and sorrow swirling inside her, grabbed her bag, and made a hasty exit.

But she was already too late. Just as she stepped out of the film set's back entrance, a throng of reporters hidden nearby, cameras at the ready, sprang up like a pack of wolves, surrounding her completely.

Amara was taken aback. She had peeked outside before stepping out, ensuring the coast was clear. Where on earth had they all come from?

"Excuse me, Miss, are you the scriptwriter 'Amarise'? Could you remove your mask for a photo?"

"Miss Amarise, how did you get those marks on your face? How did you manage to marry the show's investor with those injuries?"

"Miss Amarise, are you holding onto your husband to thwart Liliana's plans? Have you and Liliana had any fights over this?"

The barrage of questions was relentless, making Amara's head spin.
