When Amara arrived at the café, Liliana was already seated by the window, waiting for her.

In the entertainment industry, Liliana was considered average-looking, but she had a certain allure about her. She always sported voluminous waves and bold red lipstick, exuding an air of seductive femininity.

Amara took a seat across from Liliana and said calmly, "Ms. Porter, please go ahead."

Earlier, Liliana had called, saying she wanted to discuss her college days with Finnian, so Amara came. She knew this was like rubbing salt in her own wounds, but she was desperate to learn about Finnian's past.

Liliana pulled out her phone, showing a picture of her and Finnian. They wore the typical college attire, looking much more youthful than they did now.

"Ms. Sullivan, Finn and I were together back in college. At the time, Mr. Kevin Everly looked down on my family and forced us to break up. But Finn didn't want to be apart from me and was ready to fight with his family over it. Even though we eventually parted ways for other reasons, Finn hasn't been with another woman since. He's been waiting for me all these years. He's truly devoted."

Amara hung her head, hiding her expression, but inside, her heart felt like it was being squeezed tight.

"Ms. Sullivan, don't you have anything to say?" Liliana asked, curious.

Amara wore a mask, concealing any hint of emotion, and Liliana was eager to learn her reaction. Amara lifted her head, her eyes clear and bright. "Why are you trying to tell me with all this?"

Liliana's lips curled into a smile, but her voice lacked warmth.

"Ms. Sullivan, you're the one who begged Mr. Kevin Everly to retract the divorce application, aren't you? Finn's heart isn't with you, and your efforts are in vain."

Amara's body stiffened slightly. How did Liliana know about Kevin retracting the divorce application?
