Lorraine showered William with praise 

Logan, who was about to drive, paused and turned to her. He leaned in and gently cupped her face to turn it toward him. 

She stared at him in surprise. “Logan, what are you doing?” 

“Just a moment ago, you called me ‘darling, and now, it’s “Logan 

Lorraine hesitated. “It’s just a slip of the tongue. Besides, it doesn’t make much difference. It’s just a title. What matters is that you know I was referring to you.” 

She tried to push his hand away, but he removed her glasses, which lett her vision a blur. 

“Give me back my glasses.” Without them, she could barely see him even though he was right in front of her. 

Logan ignored her request. He didn Twant her to see through his disguise “So, who’s more herdson? Me or Mr. Cornell?” 

Lorraine was spoochless. As his face drew nearer, she quickly realized he wasn’t pleased with her complimenting another man and promptly said, “You, of course. You look more Eke a celebrity 

“Really?” 

As his face inched closer to her, she stiffened up and didn’t dare in move a muscle. If she did, she knew their cheeks would rub against each other. 

Lorraine delt his breath on her skin, which made her nervous. She wondered if Logan might lean in to kiss her 

“Y–Yeah. You’re really handsome. You’re the most attractive gl’wever met” 

Logan’s smile lit up his eyes, and stars seemed to sparkle in them, Bad Lonaine missed it all without her glasses. 

she could feel his nose bushing against hers. One small move and he could kiss her. 

After all, she was his wife, so it was just a natural thing to do with that thought, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. 

Lorraine couldn’t see the echotions in his eyes but sensed lis intention. As he leaned closer, she instinctively pulled back, but he didn’t give her a chance to escape. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to kiss her.

Logan had intended for a brief kiss, but his self–control faltered when he met her soft lips. He found himself wanting to savor the moment. 

What began as their first kiss a married couple quickly deepened into something passionate. 

Afterward, Lorraine snapped back to reality and pushed him away. She forbled for her glasses and put them on before taking them off again. She preferred the blurred vision to avoid looking directly at him. It could also help her hide her embarrassment 

“I don’t like hearing you praise other guys, even if you don’t mean anything by it. It makes me uncomfortable” 

Lorraline muttered, “But I was being honest. Mr. Cornell is really impressive.” 

“Of course, you’re awesome too. Now, stop messing around. Let’s go pick the kids up. If we’re late, Lalu will be upset.” 

Lorraine realized that no matter the circumstances, men just couldn’t stand it when their whs complimented other guys. She resolved not to make that mistake again.
