Helen looked at Jasmine and Jenny. She smiled as she thought about how they had stood up for her just now.

She put her hands on their shoulders and said, "How about I treat you both to something delicious tonight as a thank you for stepping in like heroes?"

Jasmine and Jenny exchanged glances and smirked mischievously, "Then we'll make sure to feast at your expense."

Helen said, "No problem, you can eat whatever you like."

The three of them shared a laugh. For the first time, Helen felt the true joy of friendship.

After dining out, they returned to school just in time for evening self-study, much like last week. George handed out a set of test papers for everyone to work on.

Due to the afternoon's events, Mandy didn't attend the evening self-study, and nobody inquired about her absence. Everyone was focused on their own papers.

"Jasmine, what did you choose for the last multiple-choice question?" As soon as the self-study session ended, Jasmine asked Helen, who thought for a moment before replying, "I chose B."

Upon hearing this, Jasmine seemed slightly dejected. "I got it wrong again."

Helen rubbed her head. "Don't worry, I'll teach you back at the dorm."

As the three of them were walking to the dorm, someone called out to Helen, "Helen, someone is looking for you at the gate."

So, Jasmine and Jenny accompanied Helen to the school gate. They immediately noticed Chandler standing there. Jenny tugged at Helen's sleeve and said, "Helen, isn't that the handsome guy who came to pick you up at noon? Come on, tell us, is he your boyfriend?"

Jasmine was also curious, "Helen, how did you manage to land such a good-looking boyfriend?"

Helen felt a wave of exasperation and hurriedly clarified, "What boyfriend? He's not my boyfriend. Please don't misunderstand."

Jasmine and Jenny's eyes lit up, and they blurted out almost simultaneously, "Then he's mine."

Helen was taken aback and asked, "Are you guys serious?"

"It felt like falling into an ice cellar in December."

Holding the takeout box, Helen couldn't help but feel that Chandler seemed upset despite him not saying a word.

She watched as his car drove away. She pursed her lips, hoping she was just overthinking.

"What's all this delicious food?" Jenny asked curiously.

Helen opened the takeout box to see it was filled with the specialty dishes she and Chandler had enjoyed at noon.

Helen looked away and suggested, "Let's go. We'll eat back at the dorm."

So, the three of them headed back to the dorm, chatting and laughing all the way.
