Benjamin angrily shrugged off Paul's hand. "I don't need you telling me what to do!"

"Have you stirred up enough trouble?" Paul retorted, his tone taking on an authoritative edge.

He added, "Nobody's blaming you right now. All we're asking is for an apology. If you can't manage that, how can you even call yourself a man? Do you remember how harsh you were with Helly back then?"

"You're right; I'm not a man. I'm just a fool. I don't deserve to be here with you. Is that what you want to hear?" Benjamin yelled, his frustration spilling over.

"Don't try to play the victim with me! The only reason I tolerated you before was out of pity for how Mariah treated you. But if you're still going to be a fool for that shameless, malicious woman, then you deserve everything coming your way!" Paul spat, gripping Benjamin by the collar.

"Fine, I might have brought this on myself, but what about you? If you were so eager to defend Helly, why didn't you stand up for her back then?" Benjamin taunted.

His words struck a nerve with Paul. In an instant, he threw a punch, sending Benjamin crashing to the ground. Before Benjamin could react, Paul was on top of him, pinning him down.

"What nonsense are you spouting? None of this would have happened if you hadn't shown Mariah that track in the first place!" Paul roared.

"Benjamin! Paul! What the hell are you two doing?" Gordon shouted, rushing in to break up the escalating chaos.

"Stop it, all of you!" Helen's commanding voice sliced through the commotion.

In an instant, everyone froze, and the bar fell into an eerie silence.

With a stern expression, Helen walked over and said calmly, "Paul, please get up and let him go."

Paul exhaled sharply, casting a final, resentful glance at Benjamin before shoving him aside. He then made his way to the bar, gulping down the rest of his drink in one swift motion.

Meanwhile, Gordon quickly helped Benjamin to his feet. Just as he was about to dust Benjamin off, Benjamin swatted his hand away and stepped aside.

Without another word, Benjamin turned and walked out of the bar.

Helen watched as he vanished from sight. As she let out a sigh, she couldn't ignore Chandler's quiet look of disappointment beside her.

Before Helen could say anything, Taylor interrupted, "It's obvious that Benjamin has changed. He's discarded all his principles for Mariah."

Handing her a cocktail, he added, "I made this myself. Have a drink."

Helen accepted the glass, her voice reflecting concern. "Benjamin just needs some time."

After all, how could any man process the reality that the woman he had once worshiped had staged her own assault?

Helen knew that Benjamin wasn't thinking clearly and didn't blame him for his reaction.
