"Are we going the same way?" she asked.

"I don't know." Tommy slowly traced the ground with his left shoe. "We have nowhere to go."

They would be scolded if they went home, and no one would teach them on campus. They didn't want to go to the internet café, either. They just wanted to follow Helen.

Helen thought it over for a while and offered, "I'm heading back to the old town. You can come along if you're interested."
