She shook her head. Sooner or later, Megan would be destroyed by her own actions.

In the president's office, Jacob was deeply focused on a chess game on his computer when he heard an urgent knock on the door.

"Come in," Jacob said without taking his eyes off the chessboard.

"Mr. Morrison." Edmund walked straight up to him. "This concerns the University of Glendale's reputation. I think it's necessary for you to see this."

"Yes, go ahead," Jacob said absently.

Edmund pushed Megan's phone across the desk. "I hope you will approve Helen's expulsion after watching the video."

Jacob finally looked up with a surprised expression. "Mr. Murdoch, are you really so forgetful, or do you just not heed my words? How many times have I said that I sent Helen to your class not to be mistreated? Are you deliberately targeting her?"

"I'm not targeting anyone," Edmund replied straightforwardly. "This matter is different. Helen is involved in a criminal assault. If the victim files a complaint, it'll be too late to act!"

"Criminal assault?" Jacob's expression grew serious. "Explain in detail."

"The video speaks for itself," Edmund insisted.

Jacob set aside his chess game reluctantly and opened the video.

Two minutes later, he frowned while holding Megan's phone. He was speechless.

He sighed as he regretted opening the video.

Helen was leading a group of people. Was she somehow connected to a criminal organization? The brutality depicted was certainly not a minor skirmish.

"The truth is clear in the video. I don't understand what more you need to investigate." Edmund was unmoved.

"The motive is important. Who would provoke trouble without reason? Perhaps Helen was simply forced to retaliate."

"Is that possible? Mr. Morrison, look again. Helen's group was ten times larger than the opponents. This was clearly an overwhelming case of bullying, and there's no mistake about it!"

"Fine, if you're wrong, you'll have to give up your position as the lecturer of the specialized preparatory class and let someone else take over."

"Agreed!"

With Megan backing him, Edmund was confident in his stance.
