"Quick, get someone to bring the money!" Johnny instructed urgently as he regained consciousness.

Three hours later, he drove alone to an abandoned factory in Ashpoint.

The ten million dollars in cash was packed into two suitcases. After considerable effort, he managed to drag the suitcases up to the factory's second floor.

"Daddy!" Fiona cried out. Despite being bound to a chair, she attempted to stand up when she saw Johnny.

In a flash, Helios brandished a knife, forcing her to sit back down. "Don't move!"

"Love can manifest in many ways, Dad. Just because you haven't seen them all doesn't mean they don't exist. Nana wanted to leave the hospital, so I brought her here. Isn't that a form of love?" Helios said nonchalantly.

"I'm not interested in your twisted justifications." Johnny interrupted, kicking the suitcases aside. "I've brought the ten million dollars. Let her go!"

"Why the rush?" Helios replied, keeping the knife dangerously close to Fiona's neck. "I still need you to bring the money over here so I can inspect it."

"There's no need for that," Johnny said coldly. "If it takes ten million dollars to save my daughter, I can certainly afford it."

"Of course, of course. Nana's life is worth far more than mine," Helios said with a mocking grin. "But even with family, it's wise to be cautious. You wouldn't want to go through something like this again, would you?"

Fiona immediately stood up and rushed to Johnny. "Daddy!"

Johnny hurriedly untied the ropes restraining her.

"Daddy! Let's get out of here! I want to go home. I'm so scared," Fiona pleaded, her voice trembling.

"Just a moment," Johnny said gently before turning back to Helios with a look of disdain. "Think of this money as compensation for your parents' funeral expenses.

"From now on, our families are finished with each other. I'm letting this go for now, but if you ever harm Nana again, I will hold the entire Zacher family accountable!"
