Tommy, who had been quiet up to this point, spoke with a newfound seriousness, "I've reviewed some of the material but don't fully grasp it yet. My tutor is helping me catch up, so you don't need to worry, Mr. Reddick."

Adopting a serious expression, Bentley took a deep breath and pressed the back of his hand to Tommy's forehead. "You don't have a fever or anything. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Get off me!" Tommy exclaimed, swatting Bentley's hand away. "I'm serious about studying now. Is that a problem?"

"Knock it off; that joke isn't funny," Bentley said, giving Tommy a playful nudge.

Seeing Tommy's earnest expression, he asked in disbelief, "Wait, are you actually serious?"

"Yes," Tommy replied with conviction. "Boss is right—if I want to excel in game development, I need to be skilled technically first. Without a sharp mind, how can I truly master the craft?"

Bentley was momentarily taken aback. Tommy seemed suddenly different, though he couldn't quite pinpoint why.

Hunter, however, was pleased. "It's wonderful to see your enthusiasm for learning. You're all bright students—if you're willing to put in the effort, it's never too late to improve."

"Mr. Reddick, I completely agree," Helen interjected earnestly. "But since Tommy and Bentley have a weaker foundation than I do, maybe you should focus on helping them today. I'll be heading out now!"

Without waiting for a response, she turned and quickly moved toward the door.

"Hold on a moment..." Hunter called out, stopping her. "You usually seem so composed, but why are you in such a hurry today?

"After teaching thousands of students, I can certainly manage the three of you. Stay here and work on your revisions. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me directly; there's no need to be shy."

Feeling exasperated, Helen remarked, "Mr. Reddick, I assure you, I'm not shy at all."

"Good to hear. Now, please sit back down," Hunter replied with a smile.

Helen looked at Tommy and Bentley, hoping they might back her up. However, Tommy quickly resumed his seat in silence, and Bentley, ever compliant, followed suit.

"That can't be right," Hunter said, carefully reviewing the annotations. Every formula and step seemed correct, so the answer should have been accurate.

"Your calculus is off," Helen explained calmly. "You should have integrated all the preceding steps before addressing the final part. Also, there were errors in your addition and subtraction."

"Really?" Hunter responded, adjusting his glasses as he began recalculating the problem in his mind.

Helen couldn't help but smile. Seizing the moment, she said, "Mr. Reddick, why don't you take some time to work on that? I have an appointment to attend, so I'll be on my way."

"Sure, go ahead," Hunter replied, waving her off. He was too engrossed in his calculations to give her any further notice.

"Thank you, Mr. Reddick. Goodbye!" Helen said cheerfully before quickly heading out.

Standing nearby, Edmund watched the entire interaction unfold.
