"Who are you? What right do you have to boss me around?" The woman was in a fit of rage, so she wasn't afraid of Helen's intimidating demeanor.

"I'm Chandler's wife. We came here to solve the problem," Helen said in a neither servile nor arrogant manner.

"If you think that your daughter will be fine after hitting him, then I have to remind you of the fact that continuing to make a scene will only affect the doctor performing the surgery."

Her daughter's life mattered the most. Although the woman hated Chandler, she didn't want to harm her daughter because of this, so she quickly stopped cursing and regained her composure.

Before long, the door of the operating room opened, and Bernard walked out.

"Doctor!" The woman instantly went up and asked anxiously, "How is my daughter?"

"Did I ever say that?" Shawn directly gave up arguing. "So what even if I did? Becoming a doctor can save lives, but not using poison?"

"It certainly can," said Helen. "As long as you're not harming others or being harmed, you're always free."
