Despite Tristan's typically quiet and reserved demeanor, he proved to be remarkably incisive when he spoke.

Tommy was jolted by Tristan's comment and immediately stood up in support of Helen. "Tristan's right. Mr. Murdoch is the one who messed up the timing. Why should we be punished for a mistake that wasn't ours? Are we your servants or something?"

"Exactly!" Bentley exclaimed, banging his fist on the table. "Where there's oppression, there will be resistance! Do you have any idea how damaging losing an extra 15 minutes of sleep is to my health? I'm starting to think my poor academic performance is because of these early classes!"

"Hey, Bentley, that last point might be a bit of a stretch…" Hunter said with a chuckle, signaling for everyone to sit down. He then turned to Edmund and asked, "Mr. Murdoch, do you have any additional concerns?"

Despite knowing he couldn't stop Helen, Edmund was still unwilling to concede. "Mr. Reddick, we've always scheduled classes and tests at this time. Why is it an issue now? Besides, shifting the exam forward by 15 minutes seems unfair to Helen."

"I honestly don't mind," Helen said confidently as she returned to her seat.

Edmund's frustration was palpable; his fists were clenched tightly, and veins bulged noticeably on his forehead.

Hunter patted Edmund on the shoulder, trying to offer some reassurance. "Since Helen isn't upset, there's no need for you to blame yourself, Mr. Murdoch."

Blame himself?

Edmund frowned in irritation. Why should he feel guilty?

Ignoring the mounting tension, Hunter picked up the exam paper and handed it directly to Helen.

"Good luck, Helen," he remarked, placing the test paper on her desk. Turning to the rest of the class, he added, "Everyone, please thank Mr. Murdoch for adding an extra 15 minutes to the exam."

Recalling how things went during the last exam, Edmund discreetly approached Helen's desk from behind, trying to catch a glimpse of her answers.

Meanwhile, Helen was busy reviewing her test paper. Just as she was about to start writing, she couldn't help but feel uneasy under Edmund's intense gaze. As she turned, she was met with his watchful and suspicious eyes.

She frowned and turned away, intending to start the test once he moved. However, after ten minutes, Edmund was still there when she looked back.

Frustrated, Helen tossed her pen onto the desk. She leaned back in her chair and raised her hand toward Hunter at the podium.

Hunter, however, didn't seem to notice her. Growing uneasy, Edmund asked, "What are you doing?"

Despite his question, Helen refused to address Edmund directly. Instead, she raised her voice and called out, "Mr. Reddick, Mr. Murdoch has been bothering me for a while and is now standing right next to me. I'm feeling a lot of pressure and can't concentrate on my exam!"
