Helen frowned in disdain at Chandler's state. He had been warned about the potency of the fruit wine, yet he overindulged it. Now that Chandler was in such a condition, Helen couldn't just leave him behind.

Upon returning to the hotel, Helen sought out the staff. She handed over a stack of cash. "Please help me get him to his room," she requested.

The staff glanced at the money and swiftly agreed. They called for assistance and escorted Chandler to his room.

The next day, Helen encountered Chandler as she was leaving her room. He had regained his usual composure. "Good morning, Mr. Newton," Helen greeted.

They entered the elevator together. As the doors closed, Chandler broke the silence. "Sarah, thank you for last night," he said.

He pulled out a pre-prepared check from his pocket and handed it to Helen. "This is for your trouble."

Helen glanced at the amount on the check. It was a whopping 200 thousand dollars!

Chandler's generosity knew no bounds. However, Helen felt she hadn't really done much to deserve such a reward. She declined the offer. "There's no need, Mr. Newton. It was a minor matter."

Chandler's expression darkened. His voice turned icy. "I dislike being refused. Moreover, I want last night's incident kept secret."

Helen suggested, "Mr. Newton, now that the work is done, maybe I should head back first. You could enjoy yourself for a few more days here."

Chandler stopped and looked at her. "How am I supposed to enjoy myself here without understanding the language?"

Helen realized her importance. She playfully proposed, "Staying for two more days is fine. Should I consider it overtime?"

Chandler eyed her curiously. "Are you in need of money?"

Without hesitation, Helen nodded. She thought that money was universally desired, after all.
