Helen glanced at the date. It happened to fall on a Saturday, so she agreed to it. After all, not making money when she could was foolish.

She replied to him and closed her computer. Then, she took out Tyrone's music sheet. She had edited the first section in the car earlier, so she took a pen and made further changes.

The next day, Helen lingered in bed for a while before she reluctantly crawled out from under the covers. She had stayed up late revising the music last night, but luckily, she managed to finish editing the piece and had also attempted to add lyrics. Under her effort, it became a completely new song.

Helen went downstairs and found Zac waiting in the hall.

Zac smiled and greeted, "Morning, Helen."

Since he had confessed his feelings to her last time, she had been avoiding him. If it weren't for Esmond's orders for them to take turns sending her to school, she really didn't want any contact with him.

"Morning!" Helen replied, her attitude toward him neutral.

However, Zac seemed oblivious to it as he pulled out a chair for her. "Come, have breakfast."

Helen sat down and quickly finished her breakfast. She then grabbed her bag and headed out, with Zac immediately following behind.

Along the way, neither of them spoke. Helen focused on solving math problems, while Zac seemed eager to speak but hesitated since she didn't seem to want to engage with him.

After some contemplation, he finally said, "Helen!"

He called her name, then paused before continuing, "I'm sorry about last time. I was impulsive."

Helen looked up and smiled kindly. "It's all in the past, no big deal."

But Zac continued, "I'm sorry, Helen. I didn't realize my feelings for you would cause you trouble. I know that your focus is on studying now, and maybe you don't want to date, or maybe you just don't like me, and that's okay.

"What are you thinking about?" Jenny asked curiously.

"I was thinking about the solution to the problem the teacher assigned yesterday. Thanks to your reminder, I figured it out," Helen replied.

Jasmine slapped her own head vigorously, looking exasperated. "Do all you top students think about math problems while walking?"

Jenny sighed and said, "There's a reason why they're called top students."

Helen placed her hands on their shoulders. "Haha! I was just teasing you. I'm just trying to stimulate your drive to learn."

Jasmine and Jenny looked at each other and then pounced on Helen. The three of them played and chatted as they headed toward the classroom. Nearby, Phishie watched them laughing and talking, feeling inexplicably uneasy.
