"Really?" Howard sniffled, his eyes wide and innocent. "But he's not exactly wrong, is he?"

"I guess so." Jeremiah Windsor nodded in agreement, then turned to Lincoln. "Hey, why aren't you saying anything?"

"Do you think your conversation has any significance for human progress?" Lincoln replied coldly.

"What do you mean?" Howard asked, utterly confused.

"As a man, you need to think ahead and act with foresight. Be ready for the future. Do you understand?" Lincoln frowned, his impatience increasing.

Howard and Jeremiah exchanged bewildered glances, completely at a loss.

"Forget it." Lincoln sighed, rolling his eyes. "Why do I even bother to cast pearls before swine?"

The two boys stared at him in confusion. They leaned in closer, looking up at Lincoln.

"Do you have any idea what he's talking about?"

"No, but it sounds really profound."

"Same here."

Just then, a commotion erupted in the hallway. "The bully from Class D is back!"

At the announcement, all the students milling about outside rushed into the classroom, quickly taking their seats.

Meanwhile, a boy even larger than Howard swaggered in through the front door. Dressed in flashy brand-name clothes, he walked in with an air of arrogance. He paused briefly at the podium before striding over to Lincoln and the others.

While the height difference among the group had been minimal, Lincoln's presence made it feel unmistakably like an adult confronting a child.

Lincoln towered a full head over Finn. He stepped closer, leaning down slightly with narrowed eyes. "Who was it you just said you wanted to fight?" he asked menacingly.

The weight of Lincoln's presence made Finn gulp nervously. His throat tightened, and he instinctively took a step back.

Seizing the opportunity, Jeremiah quickly stuck out his foot, tripping Finn, who landed hard on his backside.

Laughter echoed in the classroom. Having endured Finn's bullying, the students were now thoroughly entertained by the spectacle.

Fuming and humiliated, Finn pushed himself off the ground, his face flushed. Clenching his fists, he stormed off, shouting, "You'll all pay for this!"
