"Who's there? Who's speaking?" Alice exclaimed, her nerves fraying as she scanned the area, wondering if she was imagining things.

In the next moment, a figure descended from the sky, and Abigail landed gracefully in front of them.

Abigail had initially planned to observe Helen's married life from the shelter of a tree, curious to see if true love added excitement to marriage. Instead, she had stumbled into this absurd situation.

"I've seen you before. You're not Jenson's fiancée, so what are you doing sticking your nose in things that don't concern you?" Alice said, clearly irritated by the interruption.

"Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility," Abigail replied, lifting her chin arrogantly. "I can't stand seeing trash running around—what's the problem with that?"

"Who are you calling trash?" Alice shot back, hands on her hips.

"Seriously, everything you love belongs in the trash—so what does that make you if not garbage? I just can't figure it out. You're shameless and heartless, yet it hasn't exactly lightened you up!" Abigail fired off her words in a rapid barrage, each sharper than the last.

Watching the exchange, Jenson couldn't help but admire Abigail's sharp wit.

"Finally, someone voiced exactly what I've been thinking!" he celebrated inwardly. "Let the insults fly—every single one is well-earned. Alice brought this on herself!"

"Are you calling me fat? Excuse me, I'm curvy! You, on the other hand, look like some flat-chested tomboy. What could you possibly understand?" Alice snapped, rolling her eyes in annoyance.

"Oh, I understand perfectly. So what if I'm small? At least I'm doing my part to save fabric for the country! Meanwhile, you could easily pass as a bear. Who needs a trip to the zoo when we've got you?" Abigail snapped back, her sharp tongue cutting through the tension.

Having already put Aiden in his place earlier, Abigail was on a roll, and Alice just happened to be her next unlucky target. It was truly a case of "evil meeting its match".

"You—you maniac! You're driving me crazy! Ah!"

Chandler stood there, completely confused. "What did I do to upset her?"

Noticing Abigail's strange behavior, Helen nudged her with her elbow, eager to know what was on her mind. "Chandler was talking to you—why did you ignore him?"

"All men are the same," Abigail muttered, cutting a cucumber in half.

Helen paused, picking up on the frustration in her tone. Wiping her hands on her apron, she asked, "Why do you say that?"

Abigail let out a long sigh. "I've been watching from outside for hours. You've been in the kitchen this whole time, and Chandler hasn't done a thing. He's just sitting there, waiting for everything to be handed to him. Is he looking for a wife or a housekeeper?"

At home, it had always been the same. Dominic never lifted a finger, leaving everything to Connie. Even with housekeepers, Connie was always the one running around, never getting a moment to herself.
