On a quiet coastline in Miravell, a mixed-race man leaned against the mast of the dock, lazily puffing on a cigarette. The sea breeze blew, quickly dispersing the smoke into the open air.

The agreed-upon time had passed, and the person he was waiting for still hadn't arrived. He checked his watch, his impatience growing with each passing moment.

Just then, he felt a tap on his back.

He turned, puzzled to find no one there. But as his eyes moved forward, he spotted a child standing in front of him, barely reaching his chest.

"Hey, kid, stop causing trouble and go home to your mom," he snapped.

Though the child's appearance caught his attention, the man wasn't inclined to be kind. He had no fondness for children.

"My mom sent me," Lincoln replied nonchalantly.

"Do you think I'm an idiot?" the man growled.

He took off his sunglasses and shot Lincoln a fiery glare. His pale blue eyes flickered with a cold, menacing light, making him look like a crazed vampire. He was determined to intimidate this little brat.

But to his surprise, Lincoln didn't flinch. Instead, he calmly began listing off his personal details, as if he were reading from a well-prepared script.

"You're Kieran Olsen, a world-class hacker ranked fourth internationally. With the first and second-ranked hackers out this year, you're technically number one now. Your skills are quite impressive."

Upon hearing this, Kieran's fierce expression shifted into a smug smile. He hadn't expected this little brat to be so well-informed.

"It's unfortunate that you're such a compulsive gambler—betting on horses, soccer, and even tournaments. No matter what you wagered on, you lost.

"In the end, you even lost your woman to your rival. Because you were too ashamed to face anyone, you simply vanished without a trace."

"Now, I know exactly who you are, while you're still trying to figure out who I am. Arrogance isn't your only flaw—you've become complacent. A hacker who stops evolving is destined to be surpassed. It was inevitable; I just expedited the process."

Kieran glanced behind him, his face twisted with disbelief and frustration. He had just been outwitted by a seven-year-old. Even if everything Lincoln said was true, how could he ever show his face in the hacker community if word got out?

"I want what I came for," Lincoln said, his voice unwavering.

With a resigned sigh, Kieran pulled a USB drive from his pocket and tossed it over his shoulder.

Lincoln caught it effortlessly and reminded him, "Don't forget, you still owe me five more years of service. Stay on standby—I'll be in touch."

With that, he turned and walked away from the dock. He threaded his way through the coastal shrubs and climbed into the waiting vehicle.

"Here you go, Mommy."
