Chandler was not in the mood to talk about such a topic. He frowned slightly and said, "I have my own plans for that, Grandpa. You don't have to worry about me."
Esmond could tell what Chandler was thinking. "Chandler, you need to look forward in life and let bygones be bygones. You need to cherish your loved ones in front of you!"
Chandler seemed to have missed what Esmond was really trying to tell him. "I know."
Helen excused herself before retreating into her room. She felt a little reluctant to leave after staying here for almost half a year now.
…
After both Helen and Chandler had gone back to their rooms, Esmond pulled out his phone and made a phone call. "Hello, Douglas. The two of them are back home now."
"That's good to hear. Guess I don't have to worry so much so long as they're both safe and sound. By the way, your grandson's quite the upstanding fella. I believe he's worthy of my silly little Helen," Douglas said.
Esmond laughed out loud and replied, "I already told you! It's just a matter of time until Helen becomes my granddaughter-in-law!"
"You cunning old fox… Anyway, if your brat dares to make Helen upset, I'll be the first one there to beat him up!" warned Douglas.
Esmond scoffed. "Who's gonna wait for you to come over here? I'll be the first one beating him up if he makes Helen upset!"
"You better keep your promise then," replied Douglas.
Esmond suddenly frowned and his tone became disheartened. "But Douglas, we've been trying so hard now, but the two of them seem to not be making any progress at all. You used to be quite the womanizer, aren't you? Do you have any tips and tricks? Come on, for both our sakes!"
Douglas laughed and replied, "I guess even you would need help for such matters!"
"Who said I need your help? I'm just asking you for your opinion, come on, tell me some tricks!" insisted Esmond.
An evil smile crept up on Zac's face as his eyes narrowed.
The next day, Helen handed the tickets to Phishie as she arrived at school. "Here you go, tickets to see your hubby performing his new song."
Phishie's eyes immediately lit up. "Oh my God! I love you, Helen! I spent so much time yesterday camping on the official site and never managed to get a ticket at all. I even thought about buying it from a scalper at a premium! I can't believe you really got the tickets for me!"
Helen explained, "It's from Tyrone himself."
Phishie became even more excited. "Are you serious? My hubby gave it to me? My hubby really is the best! He knew I couldn't get a ticket, so he gave me one!"
Phishie kissed the ticket as Helen helplessly shook her head before continuing her revision.
With Jasmine and Jenny gone from the school, Helen could finally enjoy a peaceful life at the school.
