Colin was really disgusting. "Your presence here is already troublesome enough." Helen seemed afraid of getting involved with him as she kept glancing at the door while speaking.

A cunning glint flashed in Colin's eyes. If she weren't interested in him, why would she be afraid of being found out by Chandler?

But he wasn't in a hurry to expose her; he just reminded her with concern. "I didn't understand why a good woman like you wasn't cherished. That is until I realized that your man is Chandler, and everything finally clicked."

"What do you mean?" Helen was successfully intrigued.

"You should be able to tell that Chandler and I have known each other for many years," Colin said, deliberately keeping things in suspense.

"Yes, so what? Is there something about him that I don't know?"

Colin replied seriously, "Of course, you know his first wife, Helen Spencer, right?"

"Everyone in Grand Cathay knows her. Isn't she already dead?" Helen played along and acted innocent, following his lead.

"She is dead, but she has always lived in Chandler's heart. After Helen's passing, every woman he has been with has something in common with her." Colin's words grew more mysterious, as if he was hypnotizing her.

"It's impossible." Helen pretended to be stubborn. "He treats me well, and he loves me very much."

"Wake up! He just treats you as a substitute for Helen." Colin became agitated. "Kaylee, think carefully. When Chandler looks at you, does it seem like he's looking at someone else through you?"

Helen wanted to tell Colin that he should act in horror movies. He had quite a rich imagination to have said that Chandler looked through her to see another person.

She was Helen; who else would Chandler want to see? But since she was still putting on a show, she immersed herself in the role and lowered her eyes in sorrow and silence.

Chandler found it amusing. "I see that you were quite into the acting. Why did you suddenly stop?"

"I was into it to make it seem more real. Now that I've achieved my goal, why should I waste time continuing it?"

Colin's only goal was to sow discord between her and Chandler. In order to make a woman upset, bringing up her man's first love was undoubtedly the best weapon. She had to admit that Colin was quite good at psychological tactics.

Moreover, he didn't mention it last time and only brought it up in today's staged chance encounter, making it seem more genuine and believable. This showed how smart he was.

"What did you talk about after I left?" Chandler asked.

Helen turned to him and narrowed her eyes mischievously. "Colin said that you have another woman in your heart."
