"Ms. Lloyd, could you come here for a second?" Kingsley called Germaine aside.

As soon as she left, Sienna approached eagerly, pouring Seth a cup of hot water. "Mr. Moran, please have some water."

Seth's eyes lit up when he saw her. "Oh! Where did such a beautiful little girl come from?"

With her button nose and round eyes, she looked like the perfect granddaughter.

Before Sienna could respond, he grabbed her hand and pulled her to sit beside him. "Kiddo, how about being my granddaughter?"

"Well, will you give me pocket money?" Sienna asked.

Lately, she had realized that money was a very useful thing. Her parents had money, so they took good care of her. Her brother had money, so he could do whatever he wanted.

Now, she wanted her own stash, and she wasn't going to pass up any chance to save up!

"Of course! Not only will I give you money, but I'll even give you an extra gift. How about that?" Seth said with a smile, eager to win her over.

"Good!" Sienna agreed without hesitation but then paused. She turned to Helen and asked, "Mommy, is it okay?"

"You can decide for yourself. Do you like Grandpa Seth?" Helen maintained a relaxed, hands-off attitude.

"I like him!"

"Then go ahead and agree."

"Okay, Grandpa Seth."

"Good girl." Seth's heart melted at the sound of being called "Grandpa". He couldn't stop smiling.

"I'm not going. My god-granddaughter hasn't said anything, so why should I leave?" Seth flopped onto the sofa, acting like he had passed out.

"If you don't leave, then I'll go…"

"Gem, Gem, don't be angry, let me explain."

Germaine was about to kick Seth out when Jenson pulled her aside. "Alright, Gem, don't get upset with your father. He's always been good to you. Elderly folks enjoy a bit of liveliness; just let him be."

"No, he'll just bring Freya here again. Who's going to clean up the mess later? I'm going to get Mom and see if he dares to stay," Germaine snapped, tapping her heels as she stormed off to the next room.

Jenson couldn't stop her and warned Seth, "Mr. Moran, Gem's mother will be here soon. You better watch yourself!"
