Helen nodded. "Colin has been eavesdropping for long enough; it's time he gets a taste of some success. He just texted me asking to meet tomorrow. This is the perfect opportunity."

Chandler didn't say a word after hearing this. He grabbed his phone and headed out.

"Hey, where are you going?" Helen called after him.

"Of course, I'm going to play my part in this plan."

No matter how flawless Helen's plan was, Colin would never take the bait without Chandler's involvement.

Soon, Chandler walked into the study with his phone. He removed Colin's listening device from the signal jammer and began speaking as he held the phone.

"Yes, tomorrow night's shipment is critical. Make sure it arrives safely. James should come with me to oversee the reception personally."

He mumbled a few more words before switching off the device.

Meanwhile, Colin and his subordinates, who had been listening in, immediately became alert.

"Mr. Craig, James is the Destiny Corporation's top enforcer. This must be a big deal!" one of them said.

The Trinity Alliance had been under Destiny Corporation's suppression for years. Now, with a chance at revenge, his subordinates were excited.

Colin remained calm. "No need to rush. I'll wait until tomorrow to gauge Kaylee's position before making a move. There's no harm in waiting."

Double-checking was always safer.

"Mr. Craig, you're indeed wise!"

The night passed quickly, and the next day arrived.

Colin and Helen met at a café. As soon as she sat down, Helen sighed.

"It's fine. You've already helped me a lot."

With that, he pulled a diamond necklace from his pocket. As he admired it, he began to make up a story. "I saw this at an auction and thought it was beautiful, so I bought it. Only now do I realize it came at the perfect time—it's for your birthday."

He held the necklace and box out to her. "Happy birthday. Do you like it?"

Such mediocre jewelry was usually appreciated by women who had never seen much of the world.

Helen stifled her impatience and forced a smile. "Yes, I love it. This is the first gift I've gotten today. Thank you, Colin."

"I'll put it on for you."

Colin moved behind her and carefully fastened the clasp while stealing occasional flirtatious glances at Helen. But inwardly, he couldn't help but mock Chandler.

Chandler never would have guessed that the person betraying him would be the one closest to him.
