Chandler didn't say anything. He had Reggie stay behind to protect Helen and others before leaving with James and his subordinates.

On the other side, the people from the Holland family had searched for more than half an hour, but they found nothing. It was late at night, and the sea was cold, causing every single one of them to complain.

Stanson's trusted subordinate also didn't want to continue standing in the cold sea breeze, so he went up to urge tactfully. "Sir, if we wait any longer, we might run into the patrolling coast guard. It might be hard to escape then."

Stanson was stunned upon hearing it. He turned back to glance at the containers on the deck and nodded thoughtfully. "You have a point. We can't afford any more mistakes with this batch of goods."

After that, he got up and waved at the subordinates searching along the shore. "Everyone, come back!"

The subordinates were unwilling to work in the first place, so when they heard the order, they immediately ran toward the shore.

But before they could reach the shore, a row of bullets were fired at them, splashing water at their feet. Scared out of their wits, they quickly retreated back into the sea and huddled together, trembling.

"What's going on? Who fired the gun?" Stanson rushed to the side of the ship and craned his neck to look at the beach.

Stanson saw James standing at the beach with a gun, and the gears Stanson's subordinates had unloaded before going into the sea were at James' feet.

"Darn it. Who brought this guy here? Didn't I tell you all to keep it low-key?" Stanson was furious.

He had originally hoped to take advantage of the situation, but now, the people from Destiny Corporation had taken advantage of him instead.

"It's too late." Chandler's voice suddenly rang out behind Stanson. "You can't escape now."

Stanson quickly turned around and was taken aback. "When did you come up here?"

"I've already told you that I didn't capture your man. Why aren't you leaving?" Stanson drove them away meekly.

At this moment, there was a noise coming from the container behind Chandler. Stanson's expression darkened slightly. Damn it, why did it have to make a sound now?

Chandler noticed the change in Stanson's expression and walked over to the container's door. He touched the metal shell and asked, "What's inside?"

"It's none of your business. Anyway, it's not the person you're looking for. You—"

Before Stanson could finish speaking, Chandler swiftly pressed a switch and opened the door.

Under the light, more than a dozen young Amaroutan women, whose limbs were tied and mouths were taped shut, crowded together. With their terrified eyes, they looked exactly like deer being noticed by the predator.
