If Julia had come to Miravell for medical treatment, she would have gone to the large hospital in the city center.

The fact that she was at the clinic meant her visit was unplanned, and there must be another reason for her to be in Miravell.

"Hels, what are you staring off into space for?" Abigail interrupted, waving a hand in front of Helen's face.

By the time Helen turned her head, Julia had already walked out the door.

"Abigail, did you see that woman?" Helen said, gesturing toward Julia's fading figure, her grip tightening on Abigail's hand. "Follow her. This could be the breakthrough we need!"

Given Helen's pregnancy, she had to rely on Abigail to take action.

"Huh?"

Despite her earlier sluggishness, Abigail quickly snapped to attention. She glanced at the door and confidently thumped her chest. "Don't worry, I've got this. I'll have news for you soon!

"James, look after Helen."

After handing Helen over to James, Abigail rushed out like a whirlwind.

Helen took a moment to survey the area before dialing Chandler's number. "Honey, where are you?"

"Times Square," Chandler replied.

"Are you live-streaming?" Helen asked, trying to gauge his situation.

"Yeah, I just set up an account. What's up?" Chandler replied softly.

He had promised her he wouldn't risk their family's future, so Helen wasn't too anxious. "I just saw Julia at the hospital. She's totally devoted to Zac, so she must have come with him. I've sent Abigail to follow her. We should be able to track them down."

Helen hoped this would give Chandler more leverage in his decisions. For now, it seemed like they weren't completely at the mercy of others.

"Got it," Chandler said calmly. After a brief pause, he reassured her, "Don't worry, honey. If the sky falls, I'll catch it."

Even in such a tense moment, his ability to joke was a reminder of his unshakable composure. It was something only Chandler could manage.

"I understand," Julia replied, her voice tinged with frustration, but she held her tongue. After a brief hesitation, she cautiously broached the subject. "Zac, let's have a baby."

"What?" Zac responded, his disbelief palpable.

"I mean, we're not getting any younger. It's time we had a child. I—"

"Enough," Zac cut her off before she could finish. Julia wanted to explain what the doctor had said, but his interruption left no room for that.

"You know the situation I'm in, and you still bring this up? When did you become so thoughtless?"

After a long, tense silence, he added, "Are you pregnant again? If so, get an abortion before coming back—it'll save us both the trouble."

The words hit Julia like a truck, and a wave of pain washed over her, as though her heart had shattered in an instant.

"Zac, is our child nothing more than a burden to you?"
