Jenson nodded eagerly, showing a great willingness to learn. "You're my friend. I'm just your follower who's always in need of your guidance."

However, Helen refused, saying, "I don't think I can do that..."

Jenson panicked. "What do you mean by that? Are you worried I won't listen? Rest assured, I'd do anything without hesitation if you're willing to take me under your wing.

"If you ask me to study, I won't slack off or play games. If you want me to memorize Encerian words, I won't do math problems instead. Whatever you ask, I'll do it!"

Jenson's determined attitude was commendable, but it presented a significant challenge for Helen.

Helen had never taught anyone before and feared she might not do well. She was also concerned that Jenson's interest might just be a fleeting whim.

She wondered if her efforts would go to waste if he decided to give up after a few days.

"Are you serious?" Helen asked again.

Jenson nodded without any hesitation. "Absolutely!"

Helen continued, "I can study with you, but I have one condition. We must sign a contract with three key rules. In the final five months leading up to the final year exams, you must follow my instructions.

"If you break any rule, the contract is null and void. Conversely, if you study diligently according to my methods, I can guarantee you'll successfully get into a university."

Jenson didn't hesitate and said, "Okay, I agree. I'll draft the contract when I get home. Just wait and see."

Helen still warned him, "Think it over carefully. Once you sign it, there's no turning back."

"Don't worry! I definitely won't regret it," Jenson promised.

Upon arriving at the Newton's residence, Jenson rushed upstairs to the study while Helen entered leisurely. The housekeeper greeted her upon seeing her return, "Welcome back, Ms. Spencer!"

Esmond laughed. "Don't worry, I'm not cheating. I just want Helen to give me a hand, at least in terms of morale."

Helen chuckled. "Grandpa, your position doesn't seem to be at a disadvantage. You have a good chance of winning with steady play."

Esmond smiled happily. "You always know the right things to say!"

The five of them enjoyed a lively game of chess, with Esmond eventually winning by a slight margin.

"Dinner is ready, everyone!" the housekeeper announced.

Delighted with his victory, Esmond said, "Alright, let's head to the dining room for dinner."

As everyone headed toward the dining room, Jenson quickly pulled Helen aside after coming downstairs. "Helen, could you check this? If there's any issue, let me know immediately, and I'll correct it right now."
