"No, no, no! The concept of being child-free is something from other cultures. Why should we follow that trend? Having children is what truly completes a person's life. I'm still waiting for my grandkids!" Seth was the first to protest, his voice filled with indignation. "I strongly object!"

"Your objection doesn't matter," Germaine retorted, not bothering to look up from her plate. "If you want grandkids so badly, why don't you ask your other daughter? I'm sure she'd be more than happy to oblige."

"She's her own person, and you're yours. In this matter, neither of you is escaping responsibility!" Seth declared, sticking to his guns.

"Whether I have children or not is my choice, not yours," Germaine replied with a smile, clearly unfazed.

"Alright, enough of this," Tiana interrupted, cutting Seth off before he could continue. "We're here to enjoy our meal, not start an argument. Grandchildren will come when the time is right. There's no need for all this fuss."
