Jenson followed Germaine, happily trailing behind her.
"Babe, I'm being wrongly accused," he whined.
"Who told you to draw so much attention to yourself?" Germaine shot back.
"Hey, it's not my fault that I'm so handsome."
…
As the sun began to set, everyone had a good rest and was preparing to head back.
With their light luggage in hand, Jenson and the others had already gathered downstairs. Once all of them had arrived, he sent a message to Helen, letting her know it was time to meet up and leave.
Accompanied by Lincoln and Sienna, Helen was about to head downstairs when Freya suddenly blocked their way.
Freya stood alone in front of Room 204, looking a little awkward.
"Do you have a moment? There's something I need to talk to you about privately," she said.
"What could we possibly have to discuss?" Helen asked, unable to understand why Freya would want to speak with her.
Freya clicked her tongue in annoyance and leaned in to whisper in Helen's ear, "Colin sent me."
Helen shot back without hesitation, "Well, you're not exactly in a position to judge, are you? Sleeping with a man who almost became your brother-in-law must've been quite the rush for you, right?"
"You—" Freya almost lost her temper, but remembering the reason for her visit, she quickly regained her composure. "Ms. Terzian, you certainly know how to speak your mind. But tell me, if Chandler found out about your relationship with Colin, do you think he'd still let you get away with this?"
Helen flashed a faint, almost mocking smile. "What's there to be afraid of? Since you're here delivering the message, it means we're in the same boat. If we both stay quiet, how would Chandler ever find out?"
Freya nodded thoughtfully. "Not bad. You're a clever woman, I'll give you that. No wonder you've got both of those impressive men wrapped around your finger.
"Colin says he's not avoiding you on purpose—he's just tied up with some business at the moment. He'll come by soon and bring you a gift."
"A gift?"
