Jenson froze, his expression one of confusion as he stared at the hand gripping his—its strength was undeniable, far too much for someone who had been bedridden.

It took him a moment to process the situation. As he looked up, he saw that the frail Chandler he had just seen was now completely transformed. Though still pale, Chandler exuded a vitality that was impossible to ignore.

An air of authority surrounded him, and the space seemed to hum with his commanding presence.

"Chandler, you—" Jenson's words faltered, his mouth agape in shock.

Chandler removed his hand from Jenson's wrist and placed it gently on his shoulder, giving him a reassuring pat. He nodded slightly, confirming Jenson's suspicion.

It had all been a deception. Chandler had never been poisoned, not for a second.

"What about Kingsley? You two had it all figured out, didn't you?" Jenson muttered, slapping his thigh in frustration.

Their act had been so convincing that Jenson hadn't suspected a thing.

Chandler chuckled, not bothering to deny it. He then turned his gaze to Laura and asked, "Did you bring everything?"

Laura nodded and placed the large suitcase she had been carrying onto the coffee table.

After carefully setting Sienna down, Chandler approached the suitcase and entered the password to unlock it. When it opened, a human-skin mask, expertly crafted to resemble Graham's face, was revealed.

Raising an eyebrow, Graham quipped, "No wonder you didn't want anyone to see it. Guess I've been kicked off the core leadership team."

Earlier, Graham had noticed Laura carrying the bulky suitcase, and despite asking her about its contents, she had skillfully dodged the question.

He should have put the pieces together earlier—Otto's mask had been packed in a similar-sized case.

A heavy silence settled over the group as they watched Chandler prepare to wear the mask. For most of them, it was an unfamiliar sight.

Chandler took it from him, put it on, and walked over to Sienna and Lincoln. "Stay with Uncle Graham, and be good. I'll bring your mom and sister back safe and sound," he said.

Lincoln and Sienna nodded quietly.

After giving them both a hug, Chandler turned and headed toward the door.

Jenson trailed behind, suddenly remembering that Taylor and the others were still unaware of Chandler's disguise.

"Should we tell Taylor and Abigail? They've been so worried," he asked.

"It's fine," Chandler replied. "Abigail can't keep a secret, and Taylor struggles to lie to her. If we tell them, the whole act will fall apart."

After all, it was better to leave a few innocent bystanders in the dark, letting them play their part in the story.
