Following the water stains, Zac walked toward the entrance of the cargo hold and stared at the hold beneath him. From his angle, he could only see the small area of the wooden ladder illuminated by the light.

Beyond that, all he could see was complete darkness. Abigail was in the darkness, less than 1.5 feet away from the beam of light shining down.
