Though there was still a hint of playful teasing in his voice, Kingsley's tone toward Abigail had clearly softened.

"It's only because of Serena that I'm showing you any mercy and not calling you out," Abigail said, eyeing him with disdain. "Honestly, I can't even tell if you two are related. One's as perfect as the stars, and the other… Well, I'm speechless!"

Kingsley wasn't upset in the least. He simply smiled and replied, "Didn't you just say you weren't going to argue with me?"

Abigail hesitated for a moment, but after a brief pause, she shot back defiantly, "I do what I want. Who are you to tell me what to do?"

"It looks like you two really get along," Serena remarked, her smile widening. This was the first time she'd ever seen Kingsley so animated with a woman.

"Who's getting along with him? We're enemies!" Abigail snapped back. Sensing things were getting heated, she exaggerated a yawn and added, "I'm exhausted. I'm heading to bed. See you tomorrow, Serena. Bye-bye!"

With that, she made a quick exit, and the others followed suit.

"We should head back as well," Kingsley said.

Just as he was about to push Serena back to the villa, James reached out and grabbed the armrest of her wheelchair.

"I'll handle it, Mr. Godfrey. Reggie's medicine ran out, and I was planning to restock anyway," he said with a sheepish grin.

"I remember giving you a week's supply. Has it really run out already?" Kingsley raised an eyebrow, looking skeptical.

"Well, I thought I'd help things along by giving him a bit more each time. Before I knew it, it was all gone," James said with a laugh.

"That's not a good idea. Medicine is potent, and both the dosage and timing are crucial. If you get it wrong, it could backfire. I'll prepare a new batch for you, but no more improvising this time," Kingsley said.

After ensuring Serena was safely inside the villa, James took the medicine and left.

Kingsley then escorted Serena to her room. Once she was settled in bed, he instinctively tucked the blanket around her.

Serena stared at him for a moment before asking, "Do you have someone you like?"

Serena's gaze darkened slightly. "You were only born an hour before me. There's no need to look after me so much."
