Weirdly enough, when Helen said she wouldn't care about Jenson anymore, he was actually upset. It was as if he enjoyed being cared for by her.

The two of them descended the stairs together. As soon as they reached the bottom, the servant said, "Mr. Newton Senior has a social function tonight and won't be coming back for dinner. Mr. Tyrone and Mr. Adrian also informed me that they won't be coming back tonight."

Helen nodded and walked into the dining room. The most obvious dishes on the dining table were the barbeque ribs and grilled chicken that she mentioned earlier. Seeing this, she couldn't help but feel a tender warmth in her heart as a smile appeared on her lips.

"Wow, there's barbeque ribs!" Jenson quickly pulled out a chair and sat down, intending to taste it as he picked up his fork. However, just then, Chandler appeared out of nowhere and called out, "Jenson!"

Jenson immediately froze and withdrew his hand, then looked up at Chandler.

"Chandler," Jenson stuttered.

It was clear that Jenson was scared of Chandler.

Chandler nodded and said to Helen, "Try the barbeque ribs and grilled chicken, and let me know how they taste."

When Jenson heard this, he realized that the barbeque ribs were prepared for Helen. No wonder Chandler stopped him earlier. He quickly pulled out a chair for Helen and said,"Helen, please sit."

Helen smiled and sat down. After the dishes were served, neither Chandler nor Jenson touched their utensils. Chandler looked at Helen and said, "Go ahead and try it."

Helen took a bite and instantly tasted the decadence of the sauce. It had the same taste she so vividly remembered. "It's delicious. You guys should try it too."

Jenson couldn't wait any longer and began eating heartily.

"Chandler, these ribs are really delicious."

Seeing his response, she left the study. After returning to her room, Helen locked the door and turned on the computer. As soon as she logged in, she saw that Chandler was already online.

She couldn't help but remark, "You're quite punctual."

He replied with a simple "Yes" and then asked, "Shall we begin? What's on the agenda for today?"

Helen was surprised by Chandler's learning ability. In just over a month, he had basically mastered Alirian sentences and grammar. Now, he had no problem dealing with simple conversation in Alirian.

"Let's learn about situational dialogues today," she said as she began to create contexts for him. Chandler's learning ability was high, but he seemed slightly out of it today.

Chandler felt that Sarah's way of speaking was somewhat similar to Helen's. He found that everything seemed to be related to Helen.
