Carles exclaimed and quickly opened the package. There was a miniature racing car model inside. "Mr. Chandler, it's a miniature race car model!"

Chandler looked up and glanced at the package. Then, Carles found an invitation letter.

"There's also an invitation letter."

He handed the letter to Chandler who opened it and read it.

"It's an invitation to a locally organized racing competition. Mr. Chandler, would you like to participate?"

Chandler couldn't help but think of the time when he was at Furine, watching a racing competition. He simply refused, "I'm not going."

Carles didn't question him anymore and replied, "Then I'll put it away for you."

"No, give it to Jenson. That guy likes these types of things."

Carles replied, "I'll leave it in your car then so you can take it back with you when you go back."

Chandler thanked him and Carles left.

That night, he went to Jenson's room with the racecar model. When he opened the door, he saw Jenson focused on his homework.

Chandler couldn't help but tease, "When have you taken school so seriously?"

Jenson looked up, a little surprised. "Chandler, why are you here?"

Chandler placed the box on the table. "I received a new miniature race car model today. Since you like race cars, I'll give it to you."

Jenson's eyes lit up. "Really? I saw Helen receiving a super cool limited edition model today, and I was super jealous! I didn't expect you to also receive it!"

Helen opened the door and happened to bump into Chandler as he was leaving Jenson's room. Their eyes met for a few seconds, then Helen made the first move by looking away.

"Have you eaten yet?" she asked casually.

Chandler looked at her for a while before replying, "I just got home and I haven't had the time to eat yet."

Helen nodded then said, "Let's go down and eat together then."

So they went downstairs one after another. The maids had already laid out the dishes on the dining table. No one spoke a word. Helen ate quietly and after eating, she left the empty plate and utensils.

"I'm done. I'll head upstairs first." With that, she got up and went back upstairs.

Chandler watched her leave, but he didn't stop her.
