Helen's body felt weak. Taylor continued, "Three cars collided, and it's a mess right now. According to local witnesses, Chandler has been sent to the hospital."

Helen's hand started trembling. "Which hospital? I'll be there right now."

After Taylor gave her the address of the hospital, Helen quickly left the building. Carles still didn't know what was happening. Seeing how anxious she looked, he hurriedly asked, "Ms. Spencer, what's going on?"

Helen grabbed his arm and stuttered, "Merciful Hospital… Bring me there now. Chandler was in an accident…"

Chandler said slowly, "They're still trying to save him."

It was a simple answer, but it took all he had to say it. Helen's heart skipped a beat, and she looked up at the light above the operating room. She silently prayed and hoped that nothing would happen to Esmond.

"Don't worry, Mr. Chandler. I'm sure Mr. Esmond will be fine," Carles quickly comforted Chandler.

However, Carles also knew that his words were futile. Chandler looked up at the ceiling, and he thought about how Esmond protected him during the accident.

Chandler looked at Esmond with reddened eyes. He tried his best to prevent the tears from falling. "I know, Grandpa. Don't worry. I promise to take good care of the company."
