As they chatted, Helen pulled Sylvia into her room. Meanwhile, Charlie said he wanted to have some tea and went downstairs.

After they closed the door, Sylvia turned to Helen and said with a serious tone, "Helly, we know about you and Chandler."

Helen was stunned. Then, she smiled. "So, are you here to attend our engagement ceremony?"

Sylvia held Helen's hands. "Helly, tell me honestly. Is this really what you want? Although your grandpa and I think Chandler's a nice guy, I still think your opinion matters the most. If you don't like him, you shouldn't force yourself to do this."

Helen knew her grandparents treated her the best in the world. "Don't worry, Grandma. I'm only agreeing to the engagement because I like him. As for marriage, I'm still too young for it. We'll talk about it after two years."

Hearing what she said, the worry weighing on Sylvia's shoulders finally lifted.

"As long as you like him, I'll fully support you, Helly. Time sure has flown by quickly. My dear Helly is getting married in the blink of an eye…" Sylvia stroked Helen's hair and got emotional. Helen leaned against her grandmother. "Grandma, I'll definitely live a good life."

"Yeah, I believe so too."

After they talked for a little while, Helen finally sent Sylvia to her room. When she turned around, she saw Chandler standing behind her. She didn't know how long he had been there.

"You're… You're back?"

Chandler looked at her and asked, "Are your grandparents resting now?"

Helen nodded. "It's been a busy day for them. So, they've fallen asleep."

"Good. Let Harper know if they need anything. It's almost the New Year, so it's good that the place is livelier."

Helen bore into his eyes. "Did you bring Grandma and Grandpa here?"

Helen told herself to admit that she was looking forward to their kiss as well. However, now it seemed like she wasn't willing to face it.

That night, Helen tossed and turned in her bed. She couldn't sleep as she kept thinking about earlier when Chandler was about to kiss her. Helen only managed to fall asleep after midnight. Then, she slept until it was late in the morning.

"Helen, get up now…" Jenson knocked on her door. Helen turned in her bed while feeling annoyed. "Stop bothering me. I'm going to sleep for a while longer."

Meanwhile, Jenson couldn't suppress his excitement anymore. Their examination results were released that morning. Looking at his results on his phone, Jenson was over the moon. He actually got third place in his class this time.

So, he was unwilling to give up on waking Helen. "Get up now, Helen. The results are out!"

Helen only wanted to stuff her ears with her pillow. In the end, she sat up in her bed because she couldn't take it anymore. Then, she opened the door. "Can you stop being so noisy so early in the morning?"

Looking at Helen, who was still half-asleep, Jenson casually said, "Helen, it's almost noon…"
