The wedding gown had been ordered by the renowned Smith family in Aguilisco. If this order had been canceled, it would likely be difficult for Adrian to secure such a prestigious work in the future.

"No worries. I've been busy for a couple of days, so I'm feeling sleepy!" Helen yawned.

Upon seeing this, Chandler enveloped her in a comforting hug and said to Adrian, "I'll take her home to rest."

Adrian nodded and promptly directed the driver to take them back.

In the car, Helen couldn't help but succumb to her exhaustion. She drifted into a deep sleep against Chandler's shoulder.

When he noticed her peaceful slumber, he tenderly brushed aside her stray hair. Yet, his concern grew when she observed the dark circles under her eyes.

"I wonder what I should do with you..." he murmured while she got into a more comfortable position.

Upon reaching home, he chose not to disturb her. Instead, he carefully lifted her in his arms and carried her inside.

Witnessing this scene, Harper discreetly stepped aside. She stole glances at the pair as they disappeared from her view.

A sense of warmth enveloped her, knowing that Charlie would be delighted to see the bond between Helen and Chandler.

Helen slept soundly until the following afternoon. As she opened her eyes to the familiar surroundings bathed in sunlight, she smiled and blinked her eyes.

She reached for her phone and noticed that she had a voice message from Adrian. "Helen, the client wants to come in for a gown fitting this afternoon. If you're available, could you swing by?"

She looked at the timestamp of the message. It was sent half an hour ago. So. she replied, "I just woke up. I'll head over shortly."

Adrian's reply was received almost immediately. "Don't worry. The client hasn't arrived yet."

Setting her phone down, Helen quickly freshened up and stepped out of her room. When Harper saw her, she greeted Helen warmly.

"Good morning, Ms. Helen! There's some food warming up in the pot. Would you like some?"

As she finished her meal and set her utensils down, Chandler descended the stairs. Seeing her at the table, he inquired, "When did you get up? Why didn't you tell me?"

She playfully stuck out her tongue. "I've been up for a while. I noticed you were busy, so I figured I'd let you be."

He approached and ruffled her hair affectionately. "I have to go out for something and will come back in the evening. Make sure you don't overexert yourself."

Helen quickly asked, "Are you leaving now? I actually need to swing by Adrian's studio. Can you give me a ride?"

Upon hearing she wanted to go out again, he replied, "You've been awake all night. You need to rest. I'll tell Adrian we're not coming today."

"No..." Helen began to argue. But upon seeing Chandler's expression, she softened her tone and gently linked his arm. "A client is coming in to try on the wedding gown.

"If there are any issues, they can reach me directly for adjustments. But if I skip it, it could cause problems."

Unable to dispute her logic, Chandler relented. "Just make sure you don't push yourself too hard. Come home as soon as you're done."
