After hearing what Chandler said, Wyatt felt better. "Great. I'll believe your words for now."

After getting out of the car, Chandler watched as Wyatt's car left. When Wyatt was finally gone, Helen appeared out of nowhere. She tapped on Chandler's shoulder and asked, "What did Uncle Wyatt say to you? You seem to be distracted."

Chandler looked at Helen and hugged her. Then, he said gently, "Uncle Wyatt told me to take good care of you."

"Is that all?"

"Not really."

"What else?"

"He also told me not to bully you. Otherwise, he'll punish me."

When Helen heard that, she grinned brightly and said without holding back, "Haha! Now, you know I have great support!"

"Yeah, I know. So, I need to treat you even better."

Helen couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Isn't that something you should already be doing in the first place?"

"That's right! It's just that Uncle Wyatt's words have made me more determined."

Chandler spoke seriously. However, he knew Wyatt's words changed nothing, even though they did affect him. Chandler's heart was already in the same place as what Wyatt had said.

That was the tacit agreement between the two men. They both wanted to protect the same person.

After hanging up the call, Helen casually placed her phone on the table. Then, she walked to the window and looked at the night view. Time flew by quickly, and she was in the city for almost a year.
