"Helen, you're outstanding. You're even outperforming some professional athletes. Can I ask if you've had any professional training before?" the instructor asked.

Helen narrowed her eyes. The training she had received was part of some rigorous and confidential sessions.

It wasn't what one would consider professional training. Plus, it wasn't something she could just openly talk about, so she simply replied, "No."

The instructor nodded. "Great job! You've got real talent."

The other students looked at Helen with admiration.

"Take a break over there," the instructor said to Helen.

She nodded and headed to the side to rest. Suddenly, Samantha stopped her.

"Wait a sec!"

Helen turned to face her. "What's the matter?"

Samantha glanced at Helen and crossed her arms over her chest. Then, she suggested, "How about we have a little friendly competition?"

It was an open challenge, and the other students eagerly gathered around.

"Wow, a showdown between the best. This is going to be exciting."

"Helen the Genius, why not indulge our curiosity?"

"Genius, show us what you've got. We're rooting for you."

Helen frowned slightly. She replied disinterestedly, "Sorry, but I’m not going to compete with you."

It was the first time Samantha had been turned down, and it didn't sit well with her. She thought Helen was looking down on her, which only added to her frustration. "What's the matter? Chicken?" she shot back.

"You've reached the level of a professional athlete while she's lagging far behind. Don't turn down her challenge. And most importantly, her nasty attitude is just disgusting."

"Who are you calling disgusting?" Samantha snapped. She pointed her finger at Callie, who responded with an eye roll.

"Do you really think Helen is afraid of you? She is worried that you'll embarrass yourself!"

Samantha had never been so humiliated. She stomped her foot in frustration. "Helen, do you dare to accept my challenge?"

Helen frowned and asked, "What do you want to compete in?"

Samantha quickly responded, "Anything, you name it. I'll accept any challenge."
