Helen suddenly smirked, smiling agreeably. "Sure, I'll do it. But let me make it clear. I'm a bit of an ad-libber, so if I add some extra stuff in the middle of the show, can everyone keep up?"

Clement picked up his helmet and turned to leave. "You don't need to worry about that. We're all professionals. As long as the prince rescues the princess, it'll be fine."

Samantha patted Helen's shoulder in mock kindness. "Exactly. Clement is a theater major. Trust him."

Helen remained silent. Her piercing eyes bore into the slender fingers on her shoulder. She pondered whether she wear a spiked jacket next time.

Samantha belatedly followed Helen's gaze toward her fingers, feeling inexplicably uneasy. She slowly withdrew her hand.

Samantha swallowed hard while maintaining her outward arrogance, expecting Helen to embarrass herself publicly. Samantha clapped her hands and returned to her seat to touch up her makeup.

A kind classmate brought Helen a costume. "Helen, this is the witch's costume. Get changed. We're up in a few minutes."

"Thank you." Helen nodded and went to change.

Ten minutes later, the lights on the stage dimmed and then brightened again. The props team had set up a storybook palace with backdrops and props ready.

"The show begins!"

Music played as the curtains slowly parted. Samantha, the princess, laid still on a crystal bed. Helen, the witch, waved a magic wand, chanting spells around the princess...

The plot progressed without a hitch. The Knight appeared to awaken the princess and they wounded the witch together. At the climax, the knight offered his sword to the princess to destroy evil herself.

According to the plot, the sword would seem to pierce the witch's heart. Then she would collapse, defeated. However, as Samantha brandished the sword, Helen sharply sensed it being aimed at her left eye.
