As she got closer, she saw several different colored notebooks stacking on the table.
She opened the notebook and saw that it was crammed full of notes on various subjects. The messy handwriting obviously belonged to Callie.
Feeling warm, Helen smiled out of amusement.
Callie, who didn't even bother to attend her own classes, had actually taken down all the notes for Helen.
This was probably the so-called best friend.
Samantha could only be considered a fake friend.
Helen was being touched when someone behind her suddenly rolled over.
"Helen, you're back? I'm hungry. Order a takeout for me. I want some meat…" Callie leaned half of her body against the bedrail, and her eyes were still closed when she started requesting coyly.
"Okay, what do you want to eat?" Helen agreed readily.
"Since you were so kind as to take down the notes for me, you can order an expensive takeout or even eat at a restaurant. I'm fine with both."
Hearing that, Callie instantly widened her eyes and was fully awake. "For real? Are you going to buy me an expensive meal?"
"Yes." Helen nodded, but then she explained with a smile, "But not now. I just had my lunch. Can I buy you dinner?"
"Absolutely!" Callie kicked the blanket away and was about to get out of bed after putting on her clothes.
Thinking that Callie had misheard her, Helen reminded, "We're only going out at night. Don't you want to sleep a little longer?"
"Well, our bodies are valuable assets, and nothing is more important than eating. I may not have enough time even if I get up to wash up, take a shower, and do my makeup now. You may even have to wait for me."
Then, Callie swiftly got down from her bed and went to the bathroom to get ready.
Helen watched silently from the side, sensing that Callie had the rare innocence a girl at this age should have. She felt comfortable hanging out with Callie.
Compared to Samantha, there's a huge contrast.
Michelle said as she pulled out a nearby chair and sat down. Lighting up a cigarette, she smoked and stared at the ground in a daze.
Helen frowned, thinking about what to ask again.
Callie came out of the bathroom and saw that the door of the dormitory was wide open. There was even an exaggeratedly dressed woman sitting at the door, smoking casually.
She immediately assumed that Helen was being picked on again.
Without any hesitation, she dashed over furiously while pointing at Michelle.
"Who are you? What are you doing here in our dormitory? You even smoke! I will report you to Ms. Todd! Stop smoking!" she scolded while reaching out to stub out the cigarette.
But before she could touch the cigarette, Michelle instantly sprang up and pressed her head against the table, holding her hands behind her back.
"It's dangerous! You leave first!" Michelle instructed Helen behind her with a serious look.
She then pressed Callie even harder, causing Callie to scream, "It hurts! Help! Helen, help me!"
