Vernon was furious as he finally realized the damage an ignorant family member could bring.

Gritting his teeth, he snarled, "One more word from you, and I'll no longer consider you my daughter."

Rachel wanted to reprimand her father for taking the outsider's side, but the butler was silently shaking his head at her before she could say anything. Thus, she could only stay silent.
