Helen came to her senses when Chandler approached her. A sharp glint flashed past her eyes before she asked Melody to take care of Sylvia while she ran back to her bedroom.

She brought a set of acupuncture needles when she came back. Spreading out the needles on the coffee table, she turned to Chandler. "Help me bring Grandma in together. Be careful."

"Okay." Chandler nodded seriously.

Several of them worked together to carefully lay Sylvia down on the sofa.

Helen skillfully picked up the thinnest silver needles from the coffee table and inserted them into Sylvia's head and hands.

The moment she inserted the last needle, Sylvia gasped and opened her eyes slowly.

Sylvia was in a daze before turning to look at everyone else. "What happened?"

Helen breathed a sigh of relief. "You're fine, Grandma. We'll go to the hospital for a thorough checkup later."

Helen had been taking good care of Sylvia. Logically speaking, Sylvia should be in good health and would not collapse just because of a few words from Priscilla.

She suspected that Sylvia had other illnesses, but she couldn't confirm it with just the needles and checking her pulse.

The ambulance finally came 20 minutes later.

Charlie was worried, so he went along with Sylvia.

Chandler drove and brought Helen and Melody with him, following closely behind the ambulance.

"She's poisoned?" Helen unknowingly clenched her fist tightly, and Chandler wrapped his hand around it.

"Yes." Bernard nodded. "This kind of toxin is colorless and tasteless. The patient will not have any adverse effect when it first enters the body, but over time, the organs will fail rapidly once it attacks."

After a pause, he said apologetically, "Mrs. Spencer Senior can only live for another half a year at most."

Helen gulped, and her eyes reddened as she trembled uncontrollably. Her nails were almost digging into her flesh.

Feeling the abnormal move against his palm, Chandler quickly let go of his hand and saw Helen hurting herself.

"Helen." Chandler held her hands in his palm and pleaded, "Relax, please don't hurt yourself."
