Helen explained, "My friend is a fan of yours. She wanted me to bring her to meet you."
"Tyrone, you look even more handsome in person," Phishie said with rosy cheeks. Her eyes shone as she gazed at Tyrone.
Tyrone smiled and replied, "Thank you. You're very cute too."
"Tyrone, come over here. We're about to start shooting." The assistant director called Tyrone over.
Tyrone got up and headed toward the shooting location.
Helen and Phishie sat through the whole process. Even a short scene took them several takes to complete.
Phishie exclaimed, "This is the first time I've seen my husband work so seriously. He looks incredibly handsome."
The assistant director hurriedly approached. He glanced at Helen and then at Phishie. Ultimately, he chose Phishie and said, "We're missing a female supporting role for this scene. Would you like to give it a try?"
Phishie was pleasantly surprised. "Can I?"
The assistant director had preferred Helen from a distance, given her good figure and compatible temperament. It was just her face... was too hard to look at.
So, as a compromise, he chose Phishie instead.
"Give it a try; there are only two or three shots."
Phishie eagerly agreed. She then followed the assistant director to change her clothes and do her makeup.
Helen was only there at Phishie's request. She quickly felt bored now that she was alone without Phishie by her side. She said goodbye to Phishie and headed back to her classroom.
As the school day ended, Ava suddenly rushed up to Helen. She urgently said, "Helen, Phishie had an accident during the shoot. You need to go check on her now."
Helen's heart skipped a beat. "What? What happened?"
This building was not in use on regular days, and with the film crew gone, there was even less reason for anyone to be in the area.
"Phishie, where are you?" Helen searched the area but couldn't find any trace of Phishie.
She began to feel that something was wrong. She took out her phone, but a figure approached her before she could dial the number.
The next moment, a wooden stick smacked the back of her head. Her legs gave way, and she fell to the ground.
"Take her to somewhere isolated."
Helen heard a female voice in her daze. She tried to see the person's face, but her hands suddenly felt heavy, and she blacked out.
Anne looked down at Helen. A faint smile played on her lips.
"Don't blame me for this, Helen. You brought this upon yourself."
