"I'll be fine. I've had enough rest," Helen replied with a gentle smile, reassuringly patting Melody's hand. "It's settled then. Bring him over tomorrow."

"Okay!" Melody nodded enthusiastically, her eyes brimming with gratitude as she gazed at Helen. Her daughter truly was a blessing from above.

"It's getting late. You should rest early. I'll head back to my room and prepare for tomorrow," Helen suggested.

"Go ahead. Remember to rest well and avoid pushing yourself too hard. Even if you can't treat him tomorrow, it's no big deal. Cameron will understand," Melody said gently.

Helen pursed her lips and fell silent.

Back in her room, she fetched her laptop and used a program to dial Shawn's number.

When Shawn saw Helen's incoming call, his demeanor instantly shifted to excitement. He nervously tapped the answer button and brought the phone to his ear.

"Boss, is it really so urgent to save a life? Why did you personally call me?" Shawn asked eagerly.

"Have you had any issues with SK Group?" Helen queried, her voice digitally modulated to deepen into the timbre of an adult male.

"How is that possible?" Shawn laughed. "The organization is like my second family. I owe them everything. Why would I ever go against them?"

Helen nodded subtly, confirming her suspicion that Shawn was oblivious to the issue. Thus, the problem likely originated within SK Group.

"Are you in trouble?"

"Don't rush into anything. Come back to headquarters; we'll ensure your safety."

Helen's expression hardened as she stared at the messages that continued to appear on the screen.

The person on the other end wasn't Kyle.

Given Kyle's understanding of Helen's critical role within SK Group, he would likely dismiss her resignation message as a joke rather than take it seriously.
