In Chapter 818, a key moment in the Romance novel Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities, Internet delivers powerful storytelling, emotional shifts, and critical plot development. This chapter deepens the reader’s connection to the characters and sets the stage for upcoming revelations.

Maurice had previously heard rumors that Helen's fiancé was Chandler and had hoped they were untrue. However, it now appeared that those rumors were indeed correct.

Nonetheless, an engagement didn't equate to marriage. As long as Helen and Chandler weren't married, Maurice still had a chance to become Chandler's father-in-law.

With this in mind, Maurice exchanged a knowing glance with Della.

Della followed his gaze and noticed Chandler standing confidently in the distance. She instantly grasped his intention and responded with a discreet nod.

With a sincere expression, Maurice approached Melody and said, "Melody, things have been incredibly hectic at the office lately. Oliver and I are constantly on the move, and Della is often left alone at home.

"Given how lively your house is, I thought it might be a good idea for her to stay with you for a few days. It would also give her a chance to learn from Helen. What do you say?"

Before Melody could reply, Helen quickly shot down the suggestion, saying, "I don't have anything to teach her."

"Oh, come on, Helen, don't be so modest," Oliver interjected with a chuckle. "We all know you graduated with top honors from the University of Glendale. I'm sure you could provide plenty of valuable guidance for Della."

"Oliver is right; please don't refuse. Della is very capable, especially with her impressive cooking skills. Let her stay and assist with whatever you need. It's settled."

As if fearing Helen might refuse again, Maurice quickly turned and headed for the door. "Alright, I won't keep you any longer. Della, come with me; I need to have a word with you."

With that, Maurice stepped out, followed closely by Oliver and Della.

Watching them leave, Ambrose couldn't help but sneer, "I never thought I'd see anyone more shameless than I am."

Snapping out of his thoughts, Cameron turned to Melody and asked, "Mom, are we really going to let Della stay?"

Meanwhile, Maurice, Oliver, and Della stood conversing outside the door.

Della's anxiety was evident as she voiced her concern, "Dad, do you seriously expect me to flirt with Helen's fiancé while I'm at her place? Isn't that too risky? If I get caught, Aunt Melody and Cameron will definitely hold it against me."

"Can't you find a way to keep them from finding out?" Oliver prodded sharply. "You know who Chandler is; I shouldn't need to remind you. Dad is just trying to make things easier for you. Are you really going to be so obstinate about this?"

"But—"

"Enough," Maurice interjected firmly, cutting their exchange short.

He turned to Della and added, "I've always told you—it's wiser to marry well than to be born into a good family. By enduring these challenges now, you'll rise above others in the future. Can't you bear this bit of hardship?"
