Della was completely unaware that Chandler's attention was fixed on Helen. She adjusted her hair and asked shyly, "Mr. Chandler, which room will I be staying in?"

"Out on the streets," Chandler replied absentmindedly.

Confusion flashed across Della's face. "What?" she asked, unsure if she had heard him correctly.

In that instant, Chandler snapped out of his reverie. As he peered through the crack in the door, his frustration grew as he watched Helen's caring demeanor toward Kyle.

In a burst of defiance, he raised his voice and declared, "First room on the right, next to mine!"

"Really?" Della blurted out, pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything was going today. Both Helen and Chandler seemed so unguarded around her, willingly accommodating her every request.

It appeared that Maurice and Oliver had worried unnecessarily; this cousin of hers who had recently returned wasn't as difficult to handle after all.

"Yes," Chandler replied firmly, his tone devoid of emotion. "If you need anything, just ask Carles."

"Alright!" Della nodded enthusiastically, pretending to be accommodating. "I'm not picky; just some basic everyday items will do."

"Okay," Chandler responded curtly as he walked into his room.

Della watched him leave before stealing a glance toward Helen's room. At that moment, she felt even more content.

Initially, Della had believed Helen and Chandler were engaged, convinced of their unbreakable bond. Now, it appeared their relationship was merely superficial.

Despite Della having just arrived, Chandler's indifference toward Helen was unmistakable. It seemed that as time passed, his disregard for her would only deepen.

The thought of marrying Glendale's most coveted bachelor filled Della with excitement. She immediately set off to find Carles, eager to organize her belongings.

After Helen finished administering acupuncture to Kyle, Ambrose promptly escorted her aside.

Meanwhile, Chandler had his back turned to them. Helen attempted to read his expression for any clues, but after observing for a while, she still couldn't make out anything. Frustrated, she decided to leave.

As Helen passed by Della's room, she avoided looking inside.

Unbeknownst to Helen, Chandler caught sight of her movement out of the corner of his eye; it was too subtle to be seen by anyone else.

Once the footsteps outside had faded, Chandler exited the room without a word.

"Hey, Mr. Chandler!" Della called out, her voice tinged with distress. "I haven't finished what I was saying yet…"

Chandler, however, acted as if he hadn't heard her and continued walking forward.

Meanwhile, Carles stayed behind. Observing Della's distressed expression, even the usually indifferent Carles couldn't mask his look of confusion.
