"It's so funny!" Ambrose had been laughing in the ward for 20 minutes and hadn't stopped yet.

These days, everything was about standards, including the underworld.

Ambrose was also from the underworld, but his scale and reputation were far inferior to Lucian.

Even so, they were still competing with each other in secret. However, Lucian had a greater force and always suppressed Ambrose before.

Ambrose finally got the rare chance to witness Lucian being played around like a monkey, so he certainly had to laugh to his heart's content.

Helen looked at Ambrose and sighed, before turning to Chandler. "Since this place has been exposed, we can't stay here anymore. What do you think if we move Kyle to your house?"

"That's what I'm thinking." Chandler nodded. "Before the operation, I've already given instructions to deploy some men and set up some defensive measures around the house. No one will be able to get close easily."

Helen pursed her lips and said nothing. They arrived at Spencer Residence before dawn together with Kyle, who had regained consciousness, and Shawn, who had fallen into a deep sleep due to exhaustion.

Just as they got out of the car, a man with a cold face came out from the house and approached Chandler. "Mr. Newton."

The man was not tall, but based on his gait and demeanor, he appeared to be ruthless and quiet.

Chandler nodded in response and introduced him to Helen.

"This is Reggie Ashford, who previously assisted me in managing my overseas business. He will be in charge of the safety of the Spencer residence from now on."

"Thank you." Helen smiled.

"You're welcome. I'm just carrying out Mr. Newton's orders," Reggie stated expressionlessly and kept staring forward without any focus in his eyes.

Helen, however, felt a strong sense of hostility.

Helen disregarded Ambrose's dignity and murmured, "You can't even beat him."

Then, Chandler led her into the house.

"Who said that I can't beat him?" Ambrose yelled in defiance. He then turned to look at the expressionless Reggie and asked tentatively, "You were in the military, right?"

"No," replied Reggie coldly.

"It shouldn't be." Ambrose rubbed his chin and looked at Reggie skeptically. Why would Reggie's fighting skills be comparable to Larry's if he had never joined the military?

"I used to be a mercenary leader." With that, Reggie entered the house.

Ambrose froze on the spot alone, looking particularly miserable in the cold wind.
