"All drugs have side effects, and my man can't suffer even a little of them," Helen said expressionlessly.

Jim was taken aback and quickly nodded in agreement, "You're right, I'll urge them again. The antidote will be here soon."

Just then, his subordinate brought the antidote over. He hurriedly took it and presented it to Helen with both hands.

Helen took the antidote, opened it, and put it in Chandler's hand. "Take this. I'm here, and they won't dare to deceive us with a fake one."

Chandler gave a bitter smile; he indeed benefited from her care. But he said nothing and gulped down the antidote.

Lowering his head, he saw Helen's nervous expression and teased, "You were not even this serious on stage."

Helen pretended to be serious and nodded with a grunt.

For some reason, she felt uneasy, even though it was merely a minor injury. Now she knew that the man wouldn't kill Chandler, but recalling the scene just now still terrified her.

Her mentor was right. Having something she cared about would give her a weakness. If anything happened to Chandler, she would probably lose her fighting spirit immediately.

Melody's voice was quivering with a tearful tone on the phone. It was obvious that she was in a panic and had lost her mind.

Helen frowned, as she grabbed her phone tighter. "Tell me the address. Which hospital is it?"

"The community hospital! The community hospital!" Melody shouted.

The voice passed through the phone and resounded in the car. Chandler opened his eyes and sat up straight.

"Okay, I'll be right there. Don't be afraid, he will be fine." Helen hung up calmly after saying that, but her eyes were staring blankly ahead and out of focus.
