Helen gritted her teeth, overwhelmed by a wave of defeat. She hadn't anticipated that Otto and Laura weren't romantically involved with each other.

As Laura walked away, Kendrick and Sabrina approached to thank Helen for her intervention.

"Ms. Spencer, we are deeply grateful. Without your help, Sabrina would have been doomed to a life of misery with the Muskhams."

"It was nothing," Helen replied absentmindedly.

Sabrina's face clouded with worry as she asked, "Ms. Spencer, did my parents really die because of the Muskham family?"

"I have no reason to lie, do I?" Helen replied.

"I didn't mean it that way…" Sabrina sighed, her disappointment evident. "It's just heartbreaking that all that evidence is gone. Now I won't be able to seek justice for my parents."

Though Sabrina understood that the evidence was used to secure her freedom, she couldn't help but yearn to avenge her parents' murders.

"Don't worry about that," Helen replied with a knowing smile. "The universe has a way of balancing things out. Revenge will come in due time."

In reality, those supposed pieces of evidence had already been delivered to their intended recipient.

Upon returning to Muskham Residence, Freddie dismissed the housekeeper and opened the file Helen had given him.

He nervously held his breath as he carefully extracted the contents. Gradually, his expression soured.

"Captain Larson, why the solemn expression? Perhaps we could sit down and share a cup of tea first," Freddie proposed, extending his hand toward Sawyer Larson's shoulder. They had always shared a good rapport.
