When she arrived at their house, she quickly got out of the taxi. Until now, she is still very annoyed when she thinks about who she was with in that condo.

When she entered their house, she immediately went straight to her room to take a bath and get dressed but before that she went first to her son's room to peek at it and saw that he was still sound asleep. She immediately closed the door of the child's room.

After she tidied herself up it went down, she found her parents eating so she immediately sat down to share with them.

"Good morning Jewel, where were you last night? Why didn't you come home?" her mother asked

"Good morning mom, dad! I was with Calleigh last night. We just bonded, you know we haven't seen each other for a long time, she said I'll just spend the night there. I'm sorry if I didn't call right away to let you know. " she explained

Her parents immediately nodded at what she said.

As she was eating she noticed her father staring at her. "Why dad? Do you want to say something?" she asked

"About what you said yesterday, are you really sure about it? Your mom and I talked about it and we decided that Storm will be studying here." her father said directly

She suddenly felt strange sadness. She was just thinking that leaving her child here was as if someone had flicked something in her chest. She wanted to protest but someone seemed to be holding her back.

"If that's what you want, then it's fine with me." She answer

Her parents quickly looked at each other, obviously surprised by her answer.

They finished their breakfast and Jewel immediately stood up and went upstairs. She re -entered in her son's room, who was still asleep.

She sat on the side of her bed and remained just staring at the child. The son knew what really happened between her and his father Thunder, his son was smart so he easily understood everything. A few more minutes passed before Jewel decided to go out, she picked up her laptop and carried it to the swimming pool area.

She wanted to look at the sales of the restaurant that she owned in Canada. She spent almost how many hours working and did not realize that it's already two o'clock in the afternoon. She put away her belongings when suddenly a small hand gripped her hand.

"Mom, this is for you." her child once handed her a bowl of cookies.

"Grandma help me bake that, she said you love cookies." he added

"Thank you for this Storm, did you eat your lunch already?" She asked

"Yes mom, I already finished eating."

"That's good. Always don't skip your meal, okay?"

The boy immediately nodded. "Eat that cookie mom, Don't stress yourself too much especially at work. I love you mom." He said and turned around to go back in the house

She just looked at her son and smiled.

While she was eating the cookies her cellphone rang, she immediately took it and answered.

"Hello, what is it Julie?" she asked

Julie is one of the managers in her restaurant. She is also a Filipina so she trusted her so much.

"I've been calling you since yesterday Ma'am, but you are not answering it. We have a client, it looks like the bride is rich because our restaurant is the one they want to cater for their wedding, they want to talk to you in person. "Julie explained.

"Do they know that the main branch of our restaurant is in Canada? No one will fix that there because I haven't been back yet. I can't talk to them in person." She said

"Don't worry about it Ma'am the client is from the Philippines and I'm sure you can meet and talk to them."
